THE money came for yesterday’s longshot at Kempton – sadly the horse didn’t follow the script!
I’ve got my eye on one on the all-weather on Sunday who can recoup yesterday’s losses.
KING CHRISTOPHE (2.30 Southwell) caught the eye when fifth over 1m4f at this venue last time.
He did too much too soon that day, but ran with plenty of encouragement on his first outing at the track on his debut for trainer Peter Fahey.
The drop back to the extended mile is a big plus and he is nicely treated on his solid Irish form.
There will likely be a strong gallop on in this contest, so his proven stamina is a big plus.
