On June 4, 2014, she won her debut at Warwick Farm. She also won her second and final start of her two-year-old campaign at Rosehill Gardens over seven furlongs.

Unlike many horses, Winx is unique because she has raced over different distances. She’s run over 5½f up to 1m4f.

On October 24, 2015, Winx won her first Cox Plate, beating Criterion and Highland Reel, scoring by just under five lengths.

On October 22, 2016, Winx won her second Cox Plate, surging away from Hartnell to win by eight lengths.

Rider Hugh Bowman on Winx: “”She is so well-balanced, light on her feet, and she can accelerate very quickly. But it is her will-to-win and her determination that makes her so good. I’ve never ridden a horse like her.”

In winning the 2017 George Ryder Stakes at Rosehill, Winx took her earnings past the A$10 million mark.

When she won her third Cox Plate on October 28, 2017, Winx emulated Kingston Town

On 17 May 2017, it was announced that Winx would be inducted into the Australian Racing Hall of Fame, becoming only the third horse (after Sunline and Black Caviar) to be so honoured while still in training.

Winx bypassed Black Caviar’s record of 25 straight wins when she extended her unbeaten run to 26 in the Winx Stakes at on August 18, 2018.

The Winx Stakes was her 19th Group 1 victory, making her the first seven-year-old mare to win a Group 1 since Makybe Diva.
