AIDAN O’BRIEN has revealed his Royal Ascot plans as the Ballydoyle maestro looks set for another huge week in June. 

O’Brien is looking to bag the top trainer award for the fourth year running later this month, and has already claimed the prize eight times overall in his career.

His formidable team this year is set to be headed by the likes of Lockinge winner Rhododendron and crack Australian sprinter Merchant Navy.

Speaking from the Curragh on Friday, O’Brien said: “Rhododendron will go for the mile race (Queen Anne) along with Deauville.

Gustav Klimt will go for the St James’s Palace, and US Navy Flag may go for that race as well.

Washington DC and Battle Of Jericho will probably go for the King’s Stand, and Different League may go back to five (furlongs) for that race as well.

“Merchant Navy will go for the Diamond Jubilee.
