Cumani joins Ed Chamberlin during ITV’s coverage at Cheltenham this week.

Who is Francesca Cumani?

The broadcaster is a former amateur jockey who has cut her broadcasting teeth in Australia.

She remains on Channel Seven’s roster for the Cox Plate and Melbourne Cup Carnival.

Her father is Luca Cumani, an Italian thoroughbred horse trainer.

She is married to Rob Archibald and has a young son Harry

When appointed to the ITV team for the jumps season she said: “I’m delighted to be returning as part of the ITV coverage for an extended period each racing season.

“The Cheltenham Festival is the highlight of the jump racing calendar and I’m thrilled to be part of it with the ITV team.”

She will appear alongside Sir A P McCoy, Luke Harvey, Mick Fitzgerald, Brian Gleeson, Oli Bell, Alice Plunkett and Matt Chapman on ITV this week.
