Gowran Park hosts an action packed card of horse racing action this afternoon.

The Thyestes Chase is the feature contest, but all eyes will firmly be on Gold Cup favourite Presenting Percy when he makes his seasonal debut in the John Mulhern Galmoy Hurdle at 1.50pm.

Pat Kelly’s charge is currently top of the market for the Cheltenham event after his dominant win in the RSA Chase at the Festival last year.

He faces a field of stars today including six Willie Mullins-trained runners – Bapaume, Coquin Mans, Bleu Berry, Killultagh Vic, Shaneshill and Limini.

Gordon Elliott also has a strong hand in the contest with Dortmund Park, Don Poli, Mala Beach and Prince of Scars all taking their chance for the Meath trainer.

The field is completed by Joseph O’Brien’s runner Darasso.

The Thyestes goes off at 3pm with Mullins and Elliott responsible for 14 of the 18 runners.
