SKIPPING ON was disqualified for carrying the wrong weight at Leicester last time but it was still a good effort to be beaten half a length.
He sees out this trip well enough and may be capable of improvement over fences.
PEPPAY LE PUGH did well on his chasing debut at Catterick last time, finishing a solid second off this mark. This trip and ground suit and, while he has his quirks, he should be good enough to win this.
CALL CARLO left his modest hurdling form behind with an excellent second on his chasing debut at Towcester last time out. He was still very green and improved as the race went on.
He should have learned from that and looks capable of winning this.
GOOD MAN PAT can get the better of Molly The Dolly on the back of a solid win at Bangor last time out. He saw out the near-3m trip really well there and it build on a run of excellent placed efforts.
There should be a lot more to come.
TOMKEVI looks capable of improving on solid foundations of his third at Catterick last time out.
He takes a slight drop back in distance here, which shouldn’t be a problem, and he’s on a fair mark.
RAINY DAY DYLAN is a consistent performer at this level and wasn’t beaten far at Wincanton after earlier winning at the same track.
He’s had a little break since that run which came just a couple of days after the victory and that should have freshened him up nicely.
NORTHERN GIRL is worth another chance after falling at the final hurdle when well clear at Wetherby last time out.
Excellent claimer Thomas Dowson takes over today and he’s full value for the 3lb he takes off.
