Prizemoney: $3,007,450

Gone on to win 8 from 12, placing in 11. She has missed out on the minor money just once when beaten by Brave Smash in the Manikato Stakes but bounced back next start to take out the Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes.

2nd – Hello Beauty (Ex Fullazaboot)

Sale Price: $90,000

Prizemoney: $2,457,580

Sold To Hong Kong for a ‘considerable amount,’ 2nd-placed Fullazaboot has had one start at Sha Tin finishing 11th of 14, beaten 5.5L.

3rd – Outback Barbie

Sale Price: $210,000

Prizemoney: $453,200

Enjoyed some very solid Sydney form throughout 2018 and was unlucky not to win more, having been placed in consecutive Group 2 races. The filly was far too good upon returning to Queensland and disregarding her last run will be extremely hard to beat when she steps out at favorite in this Saturday’s 3YO Guineas race.

4th – Ef Troop

Sale Price: $70,000

Prizemoney: $300,450

2nd in the Group 2 Todman Stakes at Randwick first up from his Magic Millions campaign however things seemed to go amiss in the Golden Slipper. He was miraculously beaten at $1.40 when having a run at Doomben before modest runs at Flemington and Randwick late last year.

5th – Secret Lady

Sale Price: $150,000

Prizemoney: $306,725

Yet to win since this time last year but did just miss the placings behind Sunlight in the Group 3 Magic Night Stakes. She is currently under a vet certificate not to race after being beaten 6 lengths by Fiesta in August last year.

6th – Bondi

Sale Price: $400,000

Prizemoney: $240,905

Placed in 7 of 10 career starts which includes a group 1 when just 0.5L off Seabrook in the Champagne Stakes. Yet to live up to his sale price as of yet but is a current $10 chance in Saturday’s 3YO Guineas at the Gold Coast.

7th – Whisky Shooter

Sale Price: $180,000

Prizemoney: $78,470

Was effective immediately in her first start as a 3-year-old in October last year however beaten twice as favorite since with her record still standing at 6-2-0-0. The owners have only got just over a third of the buy-in back.

8th – Legislation

Sale Price: $525,000

Prizemoney: $109,230

The sales prices seem to increasing as the finishing position gets worse. Legislation has placed in just one race since winning on debut in October 2017, beating eventual Group 1 winner Fiesta. Disappointingly beaten almost 5 lengths as a $2.00 favorite in a Class 1 at Newcastle in June last year and things have not gotten any better since.

9th – Anthemoessa

Sale Price: $130,000

Prizemoney: $78,100

The lightly raced filly has had just 2 starts since this time last year but punters certainly cashed in. Coming off a modest run at Flemington, Anthemoessa stepped out in a 2YO fillies maiden at Wangaratta and was rightfully backed from $5’s into $3.70, winning by close to 2 lengths.

10th – Quackerjack

Sale Price: $240,000

Prizemoney: $202,330

Was Listed and Group 3 performed in 2018 but has managed just one placing in 5 starts since the Magic Millions race, winning a 1600m 3YO BM74 at Randwick in impressive fashion, saluting by 3.8L.

11th – Skyray

Sale Price: $60,000

Prizemoney: $159,005

Aside from his Magic Millions finishing position, Skyray has been a sound investment for connections. He has gone on to win 3 races and place in another 4, with his most recent win a commanding 2-length demolition job over 1000m at Hawkesbury in November.

12th – Meryl

Sale Price: $150,000

Prizemoney: $344,250

Both wins have come at Group 3 level and enjoyed some very impressive form throughout the spring carnival last year. She has been placed in 4 consecutive races to date including a win in the Group 3 Scarborough Stakes at Moonee Valley before running 3rd to Sunlight next start in the Thoroughbred Club Stakes at Caulfield.

13th – Witherspoon

Sale Price: $500,000

Prizemoney: $117,335

Only win came in a 2YO maiden over 900m at Newcastle, justifying the short quote to score by 4.3 lengths. She was good next start finishing 2nd in the Rosebud Prelude however was beaten well by Sunlight in Group 3 company before being beaten 3 lengths as an odds on pop in a Wyong Class 1 in December.

14th – Nomothaj

Sale Price: $420,000

Prizemoney: $171,050

Beat Sunlight on debut however her sole win since came immediately after the Magic Millions race, defeating Irukandji and Virtual Insanity in Listed grade at Flemington. She is yet to run a place in 4 runs since, in fact beaten in the Morphetville 2YO Classic as a $1.95 chance.

15th – Crockett

Sale Price: $180,000

Prizemoney: $131,000

Another that continues the trend of being beaten at short odds in much easier races, Crockett failed to run a place when he was sent out at $1.90 in a 2YO Handicap at Gawler in July. The gelding has since broken through however, doing it in impressive fashion when coming from near last to score at Flemington in August last year. He is currently under a steward’s embargo not to race.

16th – Jonker

Sale Price: $45,000

Prizemoney: $193,310

Don’t worry about the finishing position, this Spirit Of Boom Colt has shown plenty as of late. Only lightly raced, he has had 3 starts since the race at the Gold Coast, running 4th to Graff, 3rd to Lean Mean Machine and just missing the placings in the Group 2 Roman Consul in October. Big future!
