IT’S that time of the week where our expert tipsters give us their best bets ahead of another busy Saturday.

The NAPs come from Ascot, and we update the table after three weeks of the competition.

Team Chappers were scuppered last week as leading Cesarewitch fancy Stratum flopped.

Top jumps trainer Willie Mullins trained the 1-2 with Low Sun beating Uradel.

Templegate drew a blank as Teruntum Star faded into fourth late on having tried to make all in a hot handicap.

Onto week four, and the pair are hoping for success at British Champions Day.

A huge day at Ascot Saturday and I can’t help but feel LAH TI DAR is an absolute good thing in the Fillies’ and Mares’.

My selection ran a massive race in the St Leger when chasing home Kew Gardens, and the latter ran really well in the Arc.

The ground will be fine for John Gosden’s runner and I simply expect her to show too much class for the opposition.

Chapman’s picks for the ITV races

1.25 Ascot – Flag Of Honour

2.00 Ascot – Tasleet eachway

2.40 Ascot – Lah Ti Dar (NAP)

3.15 Ascot –  Recoletos eachway

3.50 Ascot – Cracksman

4.30 Ascot – Kynren eachway

SHARJA BRIDGE should be right at home in the Balmoral Handicap.

He’s bred to better than a handicapper and I’ve got a feeling he is. His form on easy ground last season was good and it’s not just the quicker surface that’s held him back this year.

He sat too close to a scorching pace in the Cambridgeshire last month so he did well to finish seventh in that mammoth-field handicap.

Having had just four runs this season he’ll be fresher than most and must have a great chance.

Templegate’s picks for the ITV races

1.25 Ascot – Stradivarius

2.00 Ascot – Harry Angel

2.40 Ascot – Lah Ti Dar

3.15 Ascot – Lord Glitters

3.50 Ascot – Cracksman

4.30 Ascot – Sharja Bridge (NAP)
