Timeform pick out their three best bets from Epsom on Thursday…
“…makes plenty of appeal off the same mark as when fourth on her handicap debut at Kempton…”
Timeform on Private Cashier
Zoffany Bay has yet to strike on turf but he finished well clear of the rest when chasing home the enterprisingly-ridden General Brook at Chepstow recently, form which was given a boost when the winner followed up last week. A 2 lb rise for that effort looks very fair indeed and he is taken to go one better here. Top Beak, who went close over C&D 3 weeks ago, and Gerry The Glover can fill the places.
Private Cashier appears to be getting better with experience and makes plenty of appeal, off the same mark as when fourth on her handicap debut at Kempton and given that she’s likely to go on improving. Edge of The World is a much-respected main danger, while Toy Theatre should be on the premises with Silvestre De Sousa back in the hot seat and, though she’s 0-17, Narjes also merits respect.
In a race that won’t take too much winning, the vote goes to Port of Call, who hasn’t put his best foot forward the last twice but is now 7 lb lower compared to when a creditable fourth on return at Windsor in May. Following Breeze also needs to bounce back following a couple of low-key threats but she’ll be a threat if able to do so now equipped with cheekpieces. Dories Delight is also worth a second look.
