BALLYVIC BORU won a jumpers bumper well at Newcastle last time out and has already tasted success over timber. That was over this trip at Perth in a similar contest. He looks capable of improving a fair bit more yet.

RIO QUINTO has done little wrong with a win and two seconds over timber so far. He handles testing ground well and Richard Johnson is back on board taking over from a 7lb claimer today.

MASTER OF FINANCE can be a bit hit and miss but he showed promise on his chasing debut at Ludlow last time.

He jumped well enough when fifth and has had a little help from the handicapper, which should make all the difference.

ISKABEG LANE is suited by this specialists’ track where he landed a game course and distance win before Christmas. He was a solid second at Catterick last time and goes off the same mark today.

GRAND TURINA has a solid each-way chance in a wide open race. She will appreciate these ground conditions and has come right down the weights. She wasn’t beaten far in fourth here latest and a repeat would put her in the picture.

WHAT A DIVA likes it here and was a decent second over course and distance last time out. Her best form has come with plenty of cut in the ground and she is still well weighted on her best form.

5.10 – Steve Mullen’s Star Bet

CALIPSO COLLONGES has cruised to victory on his past two outings since moving from Ireland to trainer Olly Murphy. He was a distance clear of his rivals at Fakenham latest and a 9lb rise in the weights is partly offset by his rider’s claim.
